Visit a Nature Center in Washington, DC, Maryland or Virginia

Tuesday April 3, 2007
Nature centers offer a wide variety of programs with many special opportunities available during spring break. Take a hike on a nature trail and see an interpretive boardwalk, wildlife viewing area or a bird, butterfly, and native plant garden. Sign up for a special naturalist guided program at one of the nature centers in Washington, DC, Maryland or Virginia. Bring the kids to learn about bird nests, bumble bees, turtles, frogs, butterflies or bats through a story, puppet show, or a child-friendly presentation.
