Madame Tussauds Wax Museum Opens in Washington DC

Thursday October 4, 2007
Wow! It looks so real! This is not a real photo of George W. Bush. It's a photo of a wax figure. Madame Tussauds Wax Museum opens in Washington DC on October 5, 2007. Madame Tussauds Washington, DC features very real looking wax figures of historical icons such as Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Winston Churchill, Rosa Parks, Bob Woodward and J. Edgar Hoover and also modern day celebrities such as Will Smith, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez. The world renowned wax museum is divided into four themed sections, each featuring an array of exhibits, interactive experiences and wax figures.

Madame Tussauds is offering a special admission price to celebrate their opening on October 5th and 6th. Admission is $10 for all ages, with $1 from every ticket sold going to DC charity, Bread for the City.
