The Secret Behind Free Groceries!

Monday August 18, 2008
A visitor to the Washingon, DC About.com Forum, recently shared the following tips on ways to save money on groceries:
Having been a cashier for the past twenty years I feel that I have become an expert at ways to save money. I also tend to chat with people on my line especially when they end up saving an extraordinary amount of money on their items. Through the years again and again I have been told by many different people that are saving the most money that they are all part of the sampler program at savemoreusa.com I have never attempted to share this information with anyone other than family and friends but last night I watched a heart breaking news story about so many families that can't even afford to eat anymore I felt that the time had come for me to help. I joined this very same program 15 years ago and it has helped me save a fortune on everything you can think of: groceries, medicines, toiletries, film, eating out, jewelry, electronics, as seen on tv items, and the list goes on and on. While the pay of being a cashier is not great, the tips that you pick up are worth a fortune!
My thoughts - This program charges a fee of $19.95 for coupon books that offer discounts on thousands of items by national retailers. I'm always a little skeptical when you have to pay a fee to save money. But many people join warehouse stores such as Costco and Sams Club. When it comes to my own purchases, I don't plan ahead that much and I'm reluctant to take the time to clip coupons. I often just buy generic brands and look for deals wherever I may shop. Here are some online discount coupons you may want to check out.
