Kids Euro Festival - A Celebration of European Arts and Culture in Washington, DC

Sunday October 5, 2008
This fall Washington, DC will host the first ever Kids Euro Festival, one of the country's largest performing arts festivals for children with more than 150 free events around the city. The month-long event, running October 9 through November 9, 2008, will feature artists in almost every performing genre, whose talents range from bubble-blowers to a virtual orchestra to storytelling to acrobats. Designed for children ages six through twelve, Kids Euro Festival is staged through the cooperation of the 27 Washington-based European Union embassies and more than a dozen major local cultural institutions. What a cool new event and a great opportunity to learn about other cultures with your kids!
