2009 National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, DC

Don't miss this year's National Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, 2009 at 2 p.m. Bring the whole family out to enjoy this annual tradition of remembrance for those who have died serving our country. The parade of Marching Bands and Veterans units from all 50 states will begin at 7th and Constitution Avenue in the heart of Washington, DC. This year’s parade will feature the following celebrities and dignitaries:
  • Admiral Michael Mullen - 17th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and Reviewing Officer
  • Ernest Borgnine - United States Navy veteran of World War II and Academy Award-winning actor
  • Gary Sinise -Star of CSI: New York and Co-founder of Operation Iraqi Children, which helps Americans donate school supplies to Iraqi schools
  • Joe Mantegna - Tony Award-winning star of Glengarry Glen Ross and current lead in Criminal Minds
  • Bob Feller - Major League Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher and veteran of the USS Alabama in World War II
