Wolf Trap Farm Park is a wonderful venue to enjoy outdoor summer concerts. The week of June 22-28, 2009, America's National Park for the Performing Arts presents a week of classic shows, punctuated by a high energy 80s tribute and the return of Riverdance.
  • Creedence Clearwater Revisited - Monday, June 22, 2009 at 8 p.m. Carrying on the original group's legacy and preserving the late John Fogerty's memory since the mid 1990s, drummer Doug Clifford and bassist Stu Cook will lead the audience through a nostalgia filled evening of hits including Bad Moon Rising, Fortunate Son and & Looking Out my Back Door

  • Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs - Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at 8 p.m. McDonald has enjoyed considerable success with hits Taking it to the Streets, and Grammy Award-winning What a Fool Believes and has almost single handedly re-popularized the Motown work of Stevie Wonder and Marvin Gaye, as evidenced by his 2008 release, Soul Speak. Blues, R&B, and rock & roll crossover artist Boz Scaggs returns to the Filene Center stage armed with more than 20 career releases that span a multitude of musical genres, including his most recent release, Speak Low (2008,) which features original takes on classic jazz standards by Hoagy Carmichael and Duke Ellington.

  • Regeneration Tour 2009 - Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 7 p.m. In a rare live appearance together on one stage, 80s pop icons ABC, Wang Chung, Cutting Crew and Berlin will descend upon Wolf Trap for the second annual Regeneration Tour.

  • Doobie Brothers - Thursday, June 25, 2009 at 8 p.m.With more than 30 years of classic rock hits and a cult-like following that spans generations, this Grammy Award-winning group has carved a niche for themselves in American musical history.

  • Riverdance - Friday, June 26, 2009 at 8 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, June 27 & 28, 2009 at 2 p.m and 8 p.m. The internationally celebrated fusion of Irish dance, song, and music returns to the Filene Center stage at Wolf Trap for its ninth consecutive year.

Its Tom Fogerty who died. John is alive and well and cranking out the best music of his career. John was Creedence. There is no reason to go see cook and Clifford. They are nothing more than a bar band while John is a musical genius.
