Lafayette Park - Pictures of Presidents Park

Thursday July 2, 2009
Lafayette Park, also referred to as Presidents Park, is a seven-acre public park located across from the White House in Washington, DC. The park is bounded by Jackson Place on the west, Madison Place on the east, and Pennsylvania Avenue. It is a popular site for political protests and for visitors to take photographs of the White House. The park hosts five statues, four of foreign Revolutionary War heroes and one of President Andrew Jackson. See pictures of Lafayette Park.
