Bikestation in Washington DC

Bikestation Washington, DC is scheduled to open in early October 2009! Located at Union Station, the 1,600 sq. ft. secure bike storage facility will allow commuters to take public transportation to the station, pick up their bicycles and go to work, shopping or entertainment. Bikestation Washington, DC will be staffed 66 hours per week and available to members 24/7. In addition to secure bike parking, the facility will also provide a changing room, lockers, bike rental, bike repair and retail sales. Memberships are being handled by the Bikestation Coalition, a national network of similar bike parking facilities. To register go to www.bikestation.co. Introductory membership rates are $96 per year or $30 a month, plus a $20 annual administration fee.
