National Gallery of Art Ice Skating Rink
Wednesday November 11, 2009
The National Gallery of Art ice-skating rink in the Sculpture Garden opens in November and remains open through mid-March, weather permitting. The ice rink, a popular recreational destination in Washington, attracts approximately 50,000 visitors each season.
2009 Update: Due to unforeseen repairs necessary to maintain safe skating conditions, the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden Ice Rink will not open as originally scheduled. As soon as repairs are completed, the rink will open for the season.
