Have you every wondered what its like to swing through the trees like a gorilla? Go Ape, a treetop forest adventure company, has opened its first location in the U.S. at Rock Creek Regional Park's Lake Needwood in Rockville, Maryland. Spanning a length of more than seven football fields and with obstacles 40 feet above the ground, the Go Ape course features a series of ziplines, Tarzan swings, rope ladders, bridges, swings, and trapezes among the treetops. Participants are equipped with harnesses, pulleys and carabineers and receive a 30-minute training session. I had a blast checking it out! Read about my Go Ape experience.
