So, have you ever really explored Georgetown? Most people visit Georgetown to dine and to shop, but there is a lot more to see in one of the oldest neighborhoods in Washington, DC. You can take a guided tour and learn real-life stories about historic Georgetown. Or you may want to take your own walking tour along the tree-lined streets and visit historic properties such as the Dumbarton House or Tudor Place. You can also take a stroll along the C & O Canal or take a mule-drawn canal boat ride. Be sure to leave some time to browse through the shops and enjoy a meal or snack.
