The Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey(r) Circus performs in Washington, DC this spring for five weeks of super-sized spectacles. BARNUM 200SM celebrates the biggest birthday bash in circus history that can only be experienced at The Greatest Show On Earth®, Barnum's living legacy! To kick off the show, BARNUM 200SM's famous elephants will march on Capitol Hill on (Date to Be Announced) at 2:00 p.m. for the biggest birthday bash with special guests including donkeys, clowns, horses, motorcycles, and even a Watusi.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to unpredictable train schedules, starting time and route are subject to change. Please call the animal walk hotline at 1-866-683-3670 for continuous updates.

Capitol Hill Parade Route :
  • Start on Virginia Ave, S.E. and New Jersey Ave, S.E. (Garfield Park).
  • Go west on Virginia Ave, S.E. to South Capitol Street, S.E.
  • Turn right (north) on South Capitol Street, S.E.
  • Merge left onto Washington Ave, S.W.
  • Turn left (west) on Independence Ave. S.W.
  • Turn right (north) on 3rd St. S.W./N.W.
  • Turn left (west) on to G St. N.W.
  • End at Verizon Center.
