By August 7, 2011

Follow me on:

Riot Act Comedy, a state of the art comedy theater located in Penn Quarter, will reopen on August 11, 2011 with the headlining act by Washington DC native Charles Fleischer (voice of "Roger Rabbit", Adam Sandler's "Funny People"). Fleischer appeared in the 1970s hit TV series Welcome Back, Kotter as "Carvelli", as "Chuck" in the hit ABC series Laverne & Shirley, and in the popular Disney cartoon series House of Mouse as the voice of "Benny The Cab". He guest starred in The Weird Al Show as a guy in a band. His knack for voices and manic facial expressions are reminiscent of a mad scientist. Fleischer also appears at the Riot Act on August 12th and 13th. Tickets are on sale now at www.riotactcomedy.com.

Riot Act offers full dinner service and multiple bars to drink at before, during and after shows. The showroom is comfortable and intimate, featuring a full size movie screen and two smaller screens. Comedy classes and comedy tours are also offered. You can try your hand at open mic night every Tuesday.
