Holiday Cruises in Washington DC

Taking a cruise on the Potomac River is a fun way to experience Washington, DC during the holidays. Several specialty cruises are available for the 2011 season. Please note that the prices do not include taxes or fees.

  • Thanksgiving Lunch Cruise aboard the Spirit of Washington. Thursday, November 24. The. Thanksgiving buffet will feature traditional favorites including roasted turkey breast with herb stuffing, brown sugar roasted pork tenderloin, classic potato salad and butternut squash mash. The cruise is $57.90 for adults or $24.95 for children. Boarding begins at 11:30am and the cruise runs from 12:00pm-2:00pm.

  • Champagne Dinner Cruise aboard the Odyssey. Make a toast to a festive season on Friday and Saturday, November 25-26. Spend an unforgettable evening in awe of the beauty that is Washington, DC with complimentary champagne. This cruise starts at $99.90*per person; boards at 7:00pm and cruises from 8:00pm-11:00pm.

  • Lunch with Santa Cruises on the Spirit of Washington. Saturday, December 10. The whole family can enjoy spending time with Santa while sampling the Spirit's Holiday Lunch Buffet and dancing to live entertainment. Photos with Santa are available for purchase as well. The cruise is $45.90* per adults and $22.95 for children; boards at 11:00am and sails from 11:30am- 1:30pm.

  • Jingle Bells Brunch on the Odyssey. Throughout the 2011 holiday season, Each cruise features a relaxing and festive ride, a lavish menu, spectacular views of the monuments and merry holiday music and décor. Lunch cruises start at $50.90 per person and Brunch cruises start at $59.90 per person.

  • New Years Eve Family Lunch Cruise on the Spirit of Washington. December 31. This festive cruise features an expansive menu and unparalleled views of the city; guests aboard the Spirit of Washington will enjoy a lively and entertaining afternoon. Lunch on the Spirit of Washington is $45.90 for adults and $22.95* for children 3-12. It boards at 11:30am and cruises from 12:00pm-2:00pm. Guests will receive party favors to celebrate the New Year early on board.

  • New Years Eve Cruises on both the Odyssey and Spirit of Washington. Both cruises include a premium open bar, champagne toast at midnight, party favors, live entertainment and dancing. The Odyssey cruise is $189.90 per person and the Spirit of Washington cruise is $144.90 per person, until December 1. Both cruises board at 8:00pm and sail from 9:00pm-12:30am. To ring in the New Year right, the boats will remain dockside until 1:00am.

  • New Year's Day Brunch Cruise aboard the Odyssey. Guests will enjoy a gourmet brunch buffet, impeccable service and spectacular views, while relaxing to the sounds of live entertainment. The cruise is $59.90 per person; boards at 11:15am and sails from 12:00pm-2:00pm. Guests over 21 years of age can enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne with their brunch.
