National Harbor to Open Outlet Shopping Center

National Harbor will soon build a Tanger Outlet Center off of its main waterfront property on the site of a historic Oxon Hill plantation. The outlets to be located in Prince Georges County, Maryland will provide upscale designer shopping to the Washington DC metropolitan area with a location that is convenient to the downtown area and Alexandria, Virginia. The outlets will attract visitors from around the region to National Harbor and were one the Peterson Company's original plan for a "family-friendly" environment.
