Six Flags America has just unleashed its newest roller coaster: Apocalypse - The Last Stand, a stand up ride with an "end of the world" theme and lots of excitement. This is the amusement park's first B&M coaster and complements the arsenal of world-class roller coasters, thrill rides and Hurricane Harbor water park. Apocalypse is located in the heart of the park and is ten stories high with bright orange and charcoal grey steel set against a backdrop of an enormous, looming skull. Six Flags is located in Prince George's County, Maryland and is the closest amusement park to Washington DC.
