On Sunday, September 23, 2012, the Loudoun Symphony Orchestra will commemorate the War of 1812 Bicentennial with a performance of a wide range of historically compelling music, including , Tchaikovsky's "The 1812 Overture" on the beautiful lawns of Ida Lee Park in Leesburg, Virginia. The concert's outdoor performance will unite the past with the present with special guest speakers, and a stirring and memorable program including our Nation's "Star Spangled Banner," plus "America the Beautiful," "Fanfare for the Common Man," the narrated "Liberty for All," and other beloved music.
