Hosted by Friends of the National Zoo (FONZ), Boo at the Zoo, on October 26-28, 2012, offers kids a safe atmosphere to trick-or-treat while enjoying animals, festive fall decorations and much more. Each trick-or-treater will receive one recyclable bag to fill up while visiting more than 30 treat stations around the Zoo. The Bird House, Small Mammal House, Reptile Discovery Center, Great Apes House, Think Tank and Kids' Farm will be open and feature Halloween-themed enrichment for the animals. All proceeds from Boo at the Zoo benefit animal care and conservation science at the National Zoo. See photos and learn more about Boo at the Zoo.
