Wine Storage Facility Opens in Washington DC

Domaine Wine Storage & Appreciation has just opened a 11,000 square foot underground warehouse space in Washington DC providing cold, secure wine storage for hundreds of thousands of bottles of the finest wines in the world. Located 20 feet below the streets of the Van Ness neighborhood, Domaine is the area's first full-service wine storage facility that allows customers access to their collections 365 days a year. The facility has already signed more than 80 clients and has more than 9,300 cases under contract. The drive-in subterranean space has the capability of storing 31,000 cases of wine, or 372,000 bottles. Operated by wine professionals, the storage facility offers a full scope of wine cellar management and wine consulting services, customized lockers, inventory services, consolidated shipping, and a wine insurance program.
