Will the HOT Lanes in Virginia Improve Traffic?

The new express lanes on I-495 in Virginia are set to open on Monday, November 17, 2012. Will HOT lanes improve Virginia traffic? If you live or work in Northern Virginia, take our poll and feel free to share your opinion in the comments section below about the HOT Lanes. The construction of the high-occupancy toll lanes is costly and has sure made a mess of traffic on the Capital Beltway. Drivers, environmentalists, and transportation researchers have questioned whether the benefits of the lanes exceed their costs.
