Smithsonian's National Zoo in Washington, DC is offering a fun-filled event for Valentine's Day, called Woo at the Zoo on February 9, 2013. The event, open to both singles and couples, is a light-hearted exploration into the sexual behaviors of animals. Hosted by the Zoo's most charismatic animal experts, Woo at the Zoo presents an opportunity to learn about animal mating, dating and reproductive habits in an honest and humorous forum. The Valentine's Day event at the Zoo is $20 for FONZ members and $30 for nonmembers. A $2 fee per transaction applies for online tickets.All the fun takes place in the Zoo's Visitor's Center auditorium where attendees also have an opportunity to create personal Valentines for loved ones. Woo at the Zoo is for adults (ages 21+) and reservations are mandatory; choose from three presentation time slots: 4:30, 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. at the National Zoo's website. Each ticket is valid for a time-specified show. Guests are encouraged to come early before the presentation begins, or stay after to enjoy the cash bar and Valentine festivities.
