If you are a Disney fan, you are in for a treat this winter. In Treasure Trove, Disney on Ice opens the vault with tales spanning from the first animated film to the 50th. Hit the ice with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald and Goofy as they embark on a treasure hunt for some of the most popular Disney films ever. Audiences will experience a medley of their favorite animated Disney movies throughout the years including the very first full-length animated film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and the 50th Disney film, Tangled. The show will be performed from February 13-18, 2013, at Verizon Center in Washington DC. Tickets are on sale now through Ticketmaster.com or TicketsNow.com.
In anticipation of the show, kids are invited to grab their skates and join Disney On Ice performers on Tuesday, February 12, 2013, from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. for a skating party including some tips and tricks from the professionals! The Washington Harbour Ice Rink in Georgetown will be transformed into a magical experience, a special meet and greet with Disney's most famous couple. This event is open to the public. Regular skate rental fees apply.
