Helix Lounge is rolling out the red carpet on Academy Awards night with its annual Oscars Happy Hour featuring a lineup of award-worthy specials. Guests can watch red carpet glitz on the lounges two 46" flat-screen TVs, while enjoying specialty cocktails and burgers themed around this year's Oscar-nominated films. Available from 5 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
- Commissary DC - 1443 P Street NW Washington DC. Oscar Viewing Party, 5pm until midnight. Stroll onto the red carpet and sip on one of the "Academy Award" winning cocktails, inspired by the nominated films while munching on Commissary's famous Truffle Popcorn. Follow the show, with complimentary Oscar ballots, and your favorite stars, as the viewing party will begin with the red carpet and into the main event at 8. Prizes will be awarded for winning ballots.
