Spring is almost here! Don't miss your chance to see the 2013 cherry blossoms in full bloom. The date when the Yoshino cherry blossoms reach their peak bloom varies from year to year, depending on the weather. The predicted dates will be announced in early March. They are considered to be at their peak when 70 percent of the blossoms are open. The blooming period can last up to 14 days. Photo © Bob Nichols/USDA
