By October 28, 2013

Follow me on:

Halloween is approaching and the Washington, DC area has a wonderful selection of activities for all ages. Many of the pumpkin patches in Maryland and Virginia are open throughout the month of October. It's great fun to romp through a cornfield with the kids at one of the corn mazes around the region. Looking for something a bit scarier? You can take a ghost tour and hear about legends of the Washington, DC area's most infamous haunted places. For more Halloween fun, visit a haunted house, a haunted forest or attend a Halloween bash. For all the details, see my guide to the Best Halloween Events in the Washington, DC Area. Here's an important tip: If you want avoid the crowds, go early in the season.
