The Maryland Polar Bear Plunge
at Sandy Point State Park has been rescheduled for March 8, 2014! The event was canceled on January 25, 2014 due to icy waters. Not daring enough to take a dip in the wintry waters of the Chesapeake Bay? You can attend to watch and enjoy the full-day winter festival featuring the Robert Andrews Tuscan Spa Retreat, the Carnival FunFest tent with games, food and other displays, the Rams Head Ice Lodge, and more. The charity event is sponsored by the Maryland State Police in support of the Special Olympics. You may register online or the day of the event. See Photos of the Maryland Polar Bear Plunge.
