The Capitol Steps is a creative and one of a kind performance. Former Congressional staffers perform a political musical satire and keep you laughing about events and personalities on Capitol Hill, the Oval Office, and other centers of power around the world. Since they began more than 30 years ago, the Capitol Steps have recorded over 30 albums, including their latest, "Desperate Housemembers" and their special holiday release, "Barackin' Around the Christmas Tree." The Capitol Steps perform live in Washington DC every Friday and Saturday night at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster.com.

The Capitol Steps perform four yearly radio shows entitled "Politics Takes a Holiday" on April Fools', July Fourth, Halloween and New Year's. In Washington, DC tune into WAMU-FM 88.5. This show is broadcast throughout the nation. Find your local radio station here.

Although the Capitol Steps are based in Washington, DC, their shows are performed locally and out-of-town for University audiences, associations, or state legislators.
