Gaithersburg, Maryland will host it's annual 4th of July celebration, sponsored in part by 97.1 WASH-FM and the Montgomery County Agricultural Center. Bring a blanket, a picnic and the
whole family to enjoy an evening of music and fireworks. The Independence Day celebration includes a lively two-hour concert featuring the variety band, Appaloosa, a few brief remarks from the Gaithersburg Mayor and City Council and a patriotic fireworks display. In the
event of rain, the fireworks only will be held on July 5.

Montgomery County Fairgrounds
16 Chestnut Street
Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Walk in at Chestnut or Dalamar Streets; the Perry Parkway entrance to the Fairgrounds will be closed. No unauthorized cars will be allowed in the Fairgrounds.
Hours:
Gates open at 5 p.m.
Concert starts at 7 p.m.
Remarks from the Gaithersburg Mayor and City Council at 8 p.m.
Fireworks launch at dusk (approximately 9:25 p.m.)
Food will be sold at the celebration. Absolutely NO alcoholic beverages, glass
containers, rollerblades, skates, bikes, pets, or fireworks of any kind will be
permitted.
