Solomons, Maryland 4th of July Fireworks 2013

Solomons, the quaint waterfront fishing village located at southern tip of Calvert County in Southern Maryland, celebrates the 4th of July with fireworks and a street fair. Family friendly activities will include inflatable amusements, a rock climbing wall, food, artisans and vendors. Here are the details for this year's event.

Locations

• The 4th of July street fair will be held on the former Lighthouse Inn property, across from the Riverwalk.
  
  
• The fireworks will be shot from a barge in the Patuxent River and can be viewed from the Riverwalk.

Parking
Parking is available at Glascock Field across from the Calvert Marine Museum, at the museum, in the public lots behind Our Lady Star of the Sea and the Solomons Medical Center. Parking at Glascock Field is $5, with proceeds to SYB Optimists. Vehicular traffic on the island will be restricted, and parking will be directed to designated areas only.
