Imagination Stage in Bethesda, Maryland is a children’s theater company offering year-round productions of modern and classic plays. The organization also offers classes in drama, acting, dance musical theatre, and filmmaking for children of all ages. Summer theatre camps give campers the opportunity to take part in a full production of a musical or play.
Imagination Stage was founded as BAPA (Bethesda Academy of Performing Arts) in 1979 and was located at White Flint Mall. In 2003, the organization was renamed Imagination Stage, and opened its current 40,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art facility in downtown Bethesda. The building includes two theatres, six classrooms, a digital media studio, a café and gift shop. School fieldtrips, groups, birthday parties and summer camps.

Imagination Stage is about a 10 minute walk from the Bethesda Metro Station.
A public parking garage is located at Auburn Avenue or Del Ray Avenue. Parking is free on the weekends.
