A 36-foot Americana-themed carousel at National Harbor offers a great destination for families with its prime location right at the water's edge of the Potomac River. The Carousel is located on National Plaza at the north end of National Harbor along the waterfront. See a map and directions. Admission is $5 for an all day pass or $3 for a single carousel ride. Mom and Dad are free with purchase of admission for children.

National Harbor is a 350-acre waterfront destination in the Washington, DC area that opened in the spring of 2008. Set along a prime spot on the Potomac River, National Harbor, a $2.1 billion mixed-use community built by the Peterson Companies, includes hotels, restaurants, retail stores, condominiums, a full-service marina, a convention center, and commercial office space.
