Bethesda’s annual Winter Wonderland is a community holiday celebration featuring a variety of entertainment and performances, a live ice sculpting presentation and a visit from Santa Claus.

Bethesda’s Winter Wonderland Schedule of Events

December 4-5, 2009

Friday, December 4th at 8 p.m.
Imagination Stage, located at 4908 Auburn Avenue.
The Bethesda’s Winter Wonderland free concert features professional choral groups including:
  • DC Accidentals, A cappella group
  • Georgetown Phantoms, Georgetown University's a cappella group
  • In Touch, Gospel group
  • UMD Treblemakers, University of Maryland's all-female a cappella group
Saturday, December 5th from 1 – 4 p.m.
Veterans Park, located at the corner of Woodmont and Norfolk Avenues.
At Bethesda’s Winter Wonderland a magnificent live ice sculpting presentation will transform blocks of ice into wintry works of art. Santa Claus will make a visit to the park and hot chocolate and treats will be provided to children. Holiday music will be performed by the following local school groups:
  • Garrett Park Elementary School
  • Our Lady of Lourdes
  • Redland Middle School
  • Seneca Valley High School
  • St. Jane de Chantal
