Model Train Opening
November 25, 2008All Aboard...Come see Union Station's Holiday Model Train as it winds its way through the mountains and fjords of Norway. Join the Marines, Mayor, City Officials and the Ambassador of Norway as they jumpstart the train in an official launching ceremony and kick off the Toys for Tots donation drive with the first toy donation of the holiday season.

Official Tree Lighting Ceremony
November 25, 2008 - 6 pmOfficials from Washington DC accept the 30-foot tree as a gift from the Royal Norwegian Embassy and the people of Norway. Join the Norwegian Embassy and DC as the 8,000 lights on Washington's official holiday tree are lit and enjoy live music performances.

Enjoy holiday performances in front of the beautifully decorated, 30-foot Norwegian Christmas Tree.Union Station is located at 50 Massachusetts Avenue, NE., Washington, DC and has a Metro stop on the Red Line. Union Station Retail Hours are Monday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 9:00 pm, Sunday, Noon - 6:00 pm. The Union Station parking garage is open 24 hours.
