Dance Bethesda 2012

Dance Bethesda features a weekend of dance events that also includes free lessons and parties at downtown Bethesda studios. Would you prefer to leave your dancing shoes at home? You can also watch great performances by some of the region’s most exciting dance performers, including renowned companies.

Free Dance Lessons and Parties

Friday, March 2, 2012, 7-10 p.m.

Participants can learn steps and see demonstrations. Studios hosting open houses include: Dance Bethesda Dance Studio offering salsa, rumba, social dancing, ballroom and Latin; Dansez! Dansez! teaching hip-hop, jazz, folklore and Latin; Du-Shor Dance Studio demonstrating salsa, swing and tango; and Joy of Motion Dance Center offering ballroom, jazz and hip-hop.

Dance Concert

Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 8 p.m.
Six professional dance companies will be featured at the dance concert at the Imagination Stage, 4908 Auburn Avenue, Bethesda, MD.
