DC Shorts Film Festival 2011 – Washington, DC

The DC Shorts Film Festival is the Washington, DC area’s only film festival dedicated to showcasing and discussing short films from around the world. The films in this year’s lineup cover a variety of genres: dramas, comedies, animation, sci-fi, documentaries, and creative experimental films. All films are 20 minutes or less. The DC Shorts Film Festival includes 145 films from 23 countries. There will be 18 different showcases screened throughout the week, each featuring approximately two hours of films.

The DC Shorts Film Festival expands this year to four different venues in the DC metro area. FREE Family Movie Screenings
Saturday, September 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Artisphere
Saturday, September 10 at 12:00 p.m. at E Street Cinema
Saturday, September 17 at 12:00 p.m. at Atlas Performing Arts Center
Sunday, September 18 at 12:00 p.m. at Atlas Performing Arts Center
Tickets MUST be reserved in advance.

Free Lunchtime Movie Screenings
Monday, September 11 – Thursday, September 15 at 12:00 p.m. daily at E Street Cinema
