Epicurience Virginia: A Wine & Food Festival in Loudoun County, VA

Epicurience Virginia is a food and wine festival held on Labor Day weekend at multiple venues throughout Loudoun County, Virginia. The event highlights the region’s culinary offerings showcased in scenic and historic settings stretching from stylish equestrian farms to the misty Blue Ridge Mountains. Attendees taste the finest in Virginia wines, meet top tastemakers and master winemakers, and sample cuisine prepared by celebrated chefs from around the country. The signature event is the Grand Tasting, held on the green rolling grounds of the spectacular 225-year-old Morven Park Estate, featuring Virginia wineries, culinary products and renowned chefs. There will be demonstrations, book signings, educational seminars, as well as exclusive events including dinners at wineries, farms, or historic homes.

About the Grand Tasting

Location: Morven Park Estate, 17263 Southern Planter Lane, Leesburg, VA

The Chef Demonstration Tent presented by Whole Foods Market, features some of the region’s best chefs showing off their kitchen prowess on Viking’s finest equipment and sharing their tips and tricks for creating culinary masterpieces. The schedule for the day will feature hourly demonstrations with: Chef Todd Gray of Equinox Restaurant (DC) and Salamander Resort & Spa, Chef Maneet Chauhan of Food Network's Chopped and Iron Chef, and former Executive Chef at Vermilion New York & Chicago; Chef Jason Bond of Bondir (Cambridge and Concord, MA); Chef Kaz Okochi of KAZ Sushi Bistro (DC); Chef Bertrand Chemel of 2941 Restaurant (Falls Church); Chef Roberto Donna of Al Dente Ristorante (DC); Chef Aaron McCloud of Cedar (DC)

The Virginia Education Tent will feature celebrated winemakers, sommeliers, and local food producers presenting informative educational sessions for wine novices to experts covering a range of topics on Virginia wine including geographic terroir, varietals, culinary pairings, and more.
