Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show in Washington, DC

The Metropolitan Cooking & Entertaining Show is a consumer event focusing on food and entertaining with more than 200 exhibitors including specialty food companies, caterers, party planners, personal chefs, kitchen planners and appliance manufacturers. The Washington, DC show will include presentations by national and local celebrities including Food Network Stars Giada De Laurentiis, Paula Deen, Guy Fieri, Tyler Florence and the Neelys LIVE.

Show Highlights

  • Watch and learn from the DC area's hottest chefs on the Cooking Stage, including Cathal Armstrong & Todd Thrasher from Restaurant Eve, RJ Cooper from Vidalia, and Barton Seaver from Blue Ridge. Plus a guest appearance from Chef Richard Blais of Trail Blais (Top Chef Season 4 Contestant)!

  • Indulge in Pat & Gina Neely's famous BBQ at their VIP Memphis Style BBQ Picnic & Book Signing

  • Improve your wine knowledge in one of our Food & Wine Seminars with Tyler Florence and Cork Wine Bar or at one of our extensive Wine Seminars

  • Sample decadent cocktails in the Cocktails with Todd Thrasher session

  • Taste some chocolate or olive oil, take a knife skills or floral arranging class and learn so much more in the Northeast Beef Board Tasting and Entertaining Workshops area

  • Sign up your aspiring young chefs in one of our hands-on classes for children in the Domino Sugar Just for Kids area

Tickets

Adults - $20 (in advance), $25 (on-site)
Children ages 4-12 - $10 (in advance), $13 (on-site)
Children 4 and under - free.
General admission includes demonstrations and entertaining presentations on the exhibit floor. Additional tickets are required for the Paula Deen, Bobby Flay and Giada Di Laurentiis presentations ($55 - 80), the Wine, Beer & Spirits Tastings ($17.50 - $20.00), the Just For Kids Area Experience ($30 - $35), and the Food and Wine Pairing ($60 - $70).
