First Landing State Park is the site of the first landing of Jamestown colonists in 1607. The park is a National Historic Landmark and the most visited state park in Virginia. Located just north of the Resort Area of Virginia Beach, First Landing has 20 miles of trails and 1.5 miles of oceanfront beach.
