Kettler Capitals Iceplex
In 2006, the Washington Capitals opened the Kettler Capitals Iceplex, a community ice rink at Ballston Common Mall at 627 N. Glebe Road in Arlington, VA. The Iceplex serves as the Capitals’ training facility and home to the team’s administrative offices. The complex includes two NHL-size ice rinks with seating for approximately 1,200, a pro shop, media facilities, special event space. The state-of-the-art training center for the Capitals includes a fitness center, athletic-training and medical facilities, locker-room and lounge areas, a theater-style classroom and a high-tech video room.
