Halloween Attraction in Jessup, Maryland

By , About.com Guide

Bennett’s Curse © Bennett's Curse
Bennett’s Curse “House of the Vampyres” and “Sanctuary of Insanity” is a haunted attraction (actually two separate ones) that uses unique special effects and mazes to make for a frightful adventure. Bennett’s Curse was selected as one of the top Halloween thrill attractions by America’s Best Haunts. The attraction is a fun way to celebrate Halloween, though it is not appropriate for children ages 10 and under. Note the new location this year - Bennett's Curse has moved to Blobs Park, just 3 minutes south of the Arundel Mills Mall.

Visiting Tips
  • Arrive early to avoid long lines. The attraction is best perceived in small groups, so you should dress appropriately for the weather and expect to wait your turn. There’s a Halloween cartoon to entertain you while in line.

  • For the best scare, lead the way at the front of your group.

  • Beware that some areas are in total darkness and the “Sanctuary of Insanity” uses strobe lights.
