The National Menorah is lit for the first night of Chanukah by Rabbi Levi Shemtov, OMB Director Jack Lew, and Rabbi Abraham Shemtov on the National Mall in Washington DC. Chanukah, also known as the Festival of Lights, is an eight day Jewish holiday marking the rededication of the Holy Temple in Jerusalem.
