Howard Theatre - 620 T Street NW Washington, DC. The historic theater will host a double dose of its famous Sunday Gospel Brunch this Easter Sunday with gospel singer and writer, Ayana McDonald (She's performed with Tye Tribbett, Fred Hammond, Kim Burrell, Gloria Estephan, the Yellow Jackets and several others). Enjoy a massive buffet spread of southern favorites including mac'n'cheese, shrimp and grits, collard greens, fried chicken and much more. Doors for the early Easter brunch open at 10am and Ayana will take the stage at 11am. The late Easter brunch will begin at 2pm with 1pm doors. Tickets are $35 in advance and $45 day of show.
