2941 Restaurant
2941 Fairview Park Drive, Falls Church, VA. (703) 270-1500. Special tasting menu available from February 12-15, 2009. Five-course menu will feature a selection of elegant dishes, such as Yellow Fin tuna tartar with pine nuts, black truffle vinaigrette and celery, Butter poached lobster with razor clams and smoked chowder emulsion and Parsley-crusted lamb rack with red peppers, rosemary jus and baby leek. $130 per person, or $205 per person with wine pairing. Five-course vegetarian tasting menu $85 per person

Art and Soul
The Liaison Capitol Hill, 415 New Jersey Ave. NW. A special menu will feature a complimentary Amuse-bouche, “his and hers” hoecakes, a “surf and turf” entrée of rib eye steak and lobster and a dessert to share. Available February 12-14. $130 or $65 per person.

Bangkok Joe’s
3000 K Street NW, in Georgetown’s Washington Harbour (202) 333-4422. Four-course dinner featuring traditional Thai dishes with a Valentine’s twist. Prix fixe menu $45 per person. A la carte menu also available.

Blue Duck Tavern
Park Hyatt Washington, 24 and M Streets, NW. (202) 419-6755. Romantic Menu for Two available February 13-15, 2009. Four-course dinner for $85 per person. A la carte menu also available with prices ranging from $11-17 for appetizers and $15-$27 for entrées.

Bourbon Steak
Fours Season Hotel, 2800 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW (202) 944-2026. Valentine's Day menu includes ahi tuna tartare with toasted sesame oil, ancho chili, asian pear and mint; Maine lobster risotto with acquerello carnaroli rice and black truffles; chateaubriande for two as well as passion fruit panna cotta and warm milk chocolate fondant for dessert. $199 per couple.

Café Atlantico
405 8th St. NW (202) 393-0812. A culinary tour of the tastes of Havana, Cuba, $85.00 per person. Menu includes items Love Potion 2008, Oysters–Mojito Style, Pumpkin Soup with ‘Cuban guacamole’ and caviar, Foie gras with plantains four ways, Cuban Style Jerk Red Snapper and ‘Ajiaco’–traditional Cuban stew.

Café du Parc

Jaleo

A la carte menu ranging in price from $7 to $14. Tapas choices include Raw oysters with olives and capers, Scallops and blood orange salad, Foie gras terrine, Porcini mushroom soup, Roasted leeks with morel mushrooms, Grilled lamb chops with cauliflower “cous-cous and more. Morrison-Clark Inn

Mrs. K’s Restaurant
9201 Colesville Road. Silver Spring, MD. With its romantic Wine Press dining cellar and three working fireplaces, this historic restaurant offers a four-course romantic menu for $60 per person. Menu includes choices such as Grilled Portobello Mushroom with Roquefort Cheese & Raspberry Vinaigrette, Smoked Salmon Sliders with Crème Fraiche, Petite Filet Mignon with Béarnaise & Lobster tail topped with Crab Imperial & Beurre Blanc, Lobster Ravioli with Shrimp & Lobster in Champagne Cream Sauce and Seared Atlantic Salmon with Orange-Honey Peppercorn Sauce.

Nirvana
