Rasika - 633 D Street, NW, Washington DC. (202) 637-1222. Four-course, prix fixe menu priced at $85 per person, or $130 with wine pairings. The menu begins with an amuse bouche of Dahi Pakodi Chaat with lentil fritter, sweet yogurt and date tamarind chutney followed by a choice of First Course, Second Course, Entrée and Dessert.  Standout dishes include Vanilla Chicken Tikka with Madagascar vanilla beans, ginger and garlic; Nimboo Grouper with kaffir lime leaves, ginger, garlic and lemon pickle; Paneer Badami Tikki with cottage cheese, almonds and black pepper; Duck Moilee with curry leaves, coconut milk and tomatoes, as well as the Chicken Dhaniwala with cashew nuts, cilantro and green cardamom.  For dessert, couples will enjoy a sweet dessert sampler of Mango Honey Mille Feuille, White Chocolate Pudding and Strawberry Basil Sorbet.  Valet parking is available for $8. 

Rasika West End - 1190 New Hampshire Avenue, NW Washington DC. (202) 466-2500. Four-course Valentine’s Day menu priced at $85 per person, or $130 with wine pairings. Guests will enjoy flavorful dishes such as the Shrimp Chili Chocolate with chili flakes, vermicelli and bitter sweet chocolate; Basil Black Cod with honey, basil and cheese; Mushroom Kebab with saffron, cashew nuts and cremini; Lamb Chop Kaliya with rose petals, fennel powder and saffron, as well as Dum Ka Bater with quail, cashew nuts and mace.  For a sweet ending, a dessert sampler with Mango Honey Mille Feuille, White Chocolate Pudding and Strawberry Basil Sorbet will also be available.  Valet parking is available for $8 per car. 

Red Rocks DC - Four locations: 1036 Park Rd., NW Washington, DC, 1348 H St., NE Washington, DC, 2501 9th Road South  Arlington, VA, and  904 King St. Alexandria, VA. Three-course meal, $49.95.  First course select two items from the appetizers, second course select a pizza to share and dessert select a dessert to share. The meal will be accompanied by a bottle of wine or prosecco.  Special available February 14-15.

Rialto - 2915 M Street NW, Washington DC.  (202) 337-1571.The new Italian restaurant in Geortgetown offers a five-course Valentines Day dinner, $65 per person. Menu will include Salumi E Formaggi, Chef’s Selection of Three Cheeses with Prosciutto San Daniele, Zuppa Di Aragosta, Capesante, Sautéed Seasonal Mushrooms, Roasted Rosemary-crusted Lamb Chops, Lentils, Spinach, Fingerling Potato and additional options. Live entertainment will be featured from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. by Drew Sims, specializing in vintage classics.

Roof Terrace Restaurant - John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, 2700 F Street NW Washington, DC. 202- 416-8555. Special prix-fixe, three-course dinner, $50 per person with a selection of dishes like fall panzanella salad with duck confit, forest mushrooms, rosemary pesto and braised beef short rib with kabocha squash puree, Brussels sprouts and shiraz glaze. For dessert, a medley of indulgent confections, including a praline mascarpone mousse cake with chocolate caramel and a warm citrus brioche pudding with cherry caramel reduction.   

Spirit of Washington - February 14-15, 2014. Valentine's Dinner Cruises. $109.90 person on Friday and $99.90 per person on Saturday, Saturday Lunch Cruise $46.90 per person. Wine and dine your valentine and enjoy a deluxe buffet, live entertainment and beautiful views of the Potomac River.

Tony & Joes Seafood Place - 3000 K Street, NW Washington, DC (202) 944-4545. Romantic setting with views of the Potomac River. Three course dinner, $60 per person, Menu includes dishes such as Shrimp and Crab Cocktail, Mushroom Risotto, Grilled Herb Crusted Lamb Chops, Steamed 1.25 lb. Lobster, Layered Chocolate Terrine and Pear and Almond Tartlet.

Urbana - 2121 P Street, NW, Washington, DC (202) 448-1877. February 14-16. Special Perfect Duos menu available all Valentine’s weekend. Experience one of DC’s top romantic tables with a menu of perfectly married, inventive small plates. The menu will include a variety of unique celebration-worthy dishes, such as; Pan-Roasted Muscovy Duck Breast and Foie Gras with turnip and spiced fig sauce; Pan-Seared Veal Tenderloin and a Sweetbread Piccata with farro risotto; Grilled Lamb Loin and a House-made Merguez Sausage with braised fennel, piquillo peppers and nicoise olive jus; Tuna and Salmon Tartare with shaved fennel and citrus salad and for dessert, a Chocolate Vacherin and Orange Nougat Glace.

Vinifera Wine Bar & Bistro - 11750 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston, VA (703) 234-3550. Five-course dinner, $95 per person,featuring mouthwatering dishes like smoked oyster fricassee, his signature "foiejitas," veal chateaubriand, and deconstructed black forest cake. Wine pairings will also be available.

Vinoteca - 1940 11th Street NW, Washington, DC (202) 332-9463. An intimate five-course menu for Valentine's Day, $60 per person, with three to four options per course. Dishes may include Caramelized Parsnip Soup with chestnuts and duck confit, Grilled Squid with corona beans and homemade Gnocchi with kale and truffled pecorino. The dessert options are as fun as they are delicious-guests can choose from a chocolate flight, banana split and more. Wine pairings can be added for an extra $35.

Zaytinya - 701 9th St. NW Washington DC. (202) 638-0800. A la carte menu featuring a variety of Valentine’s Day specials February 13-16, 2014.  Menu highlights include Caviar Airbreads, crispy pita sphere, labneh espuma and California hackleback caviar; Lobster Kibbeh, crispy potato bulgur wheat shell, cold water hard shell lobster filling, bahar spiced labneh; Lamb Kleftico, spit-roasted Jamison Farm lamb, house-made phyllo, feta and dill yogurt, as well as Lamb Chop Moussaka for Two, grilled lamb rib chops, olive oil potato puree, roasted eggplant, tomato braised lamb shoulder, feta cream and kefalograviera cheese.  Prices range from $7.50 to $26 each.  A Chef’s Experience Menu will also be available for $65 per person and includes a customizable, prix fixe menu showcasing dishes off Zaytinya’s regular a la carte menu. 

Zengo - 781 7th Street, NW Washington, DC (202) 393-2929. Zengo will be serving their Valentine’s Day dinner February 14-16, 2014. Choose any four plates off the pre-selected menu for $55 per person.  Couples can opt for dishes off the premium menu for $75 per person.  Standout dishes include Salt & Pepper Shrimp Tacos with day boat shrimp, salsa verde, pickled cabbage, lemon-sake aioli on flour tortillas; Wok Seared Sea Scallops with sushi rice, house cured ancho bacon, roasted corn, yuzu-sriracha aioli and kabayaki; Wagyu Beef Shabu Shabu with kombu-chipotle broth, baby corn, shiitake mushrooms and baby bok choy; Fried Tofu and Curried Cream Spinach served with preserve lemon yogurt and crispy shallots, as well as Korean Fried Chicken with gochujang glaze, chayote slaw and corn-potato salad.  For a sweet finish, all guests will receive a chocolate covered strawberry along with the choice of Lemon Yuzu Cake with five spice sauce, candied macadamia nuts and ginger ice cream; Mexican Chocolate Tart with ancho chile anglaze and cinnamon whipped cream, or the Passion Fruit Sorbet with Mexican wedding cookies.

Zentan - 1155 14th Street, NW Washington, DC (202) 379-4366. Valentine’s Day menu is $65 per person, there will be a supplemental sushi menu offered. Beginning with an “Amuse & Bubbles” presentation of House Cured Salmon with buckwheat blini and mascarpone caviar paired with Blanc de Noirs. The tasting menu will include dishes such as Kushi Love Bites, a duo of skewers from the Robata Grill, Hawaiian Wahoo Hot Pot with braised fresh bamboo, renkon, daikon, fish caramel and Roasted Lamb Loin & Saddle with tomato-fig jam, mint persillade, taro bread pudding and for dessert a Miso Semifreddo, sponge cake, hibiscus sorbet, meyer’s lemon-coconut jam.
