Vintage Virginia Wine Festival
June 2-3, 2012. Bull Run Park, Centreville, Virginia. Enjoy samples by more than 50 wineries including over 250 award-winning Virginia wines, educational seminars on food pairing, fine art exhibits, children’s activities, food and live entertainment.

Tour de Cure Bicycling Event for the American Diabetes Association
June 3, 2012. Help raise funds and awareness about diabetes by participating in this annual event. All experience levels welcome.

Grand Opening Maryland Live! Casino

Smithsonian Folklife Festival
June 27 - July 1 and July 4 - 8, 2012. Celebrate cultural traditions from around the world. The Festival includes daily and evening music and dance performances, crafts and cooking demonstrations, storytelling and discussions of cultural issues. This is one of Washington, DC’s most popular summer events.

AIDS Memorial Quilt
June 27-July 8 and July 21-25, 2012. The Quilt will be on display in Washington, DC this summer for two different events – on the Mall as part of the Smithsonian Folklife Festival and at several venues around the city during The International AIDS Conference that is taking place at The Washington Convention Center. The Quilt serves as a memorial for those who have died of AIDS and as a community project to educate the public about the devastating impact of the disease.
