These photos show the Iwo Jima Memorial, the U.S. Marine Corps Memorial, located in Arlington, Virginia just outside of Washington, DC. The Iwo Jima Memorial is a 32-foot-high sculpture inspired by a Pulitzer Prize winning photograph of one of the most historic battles of World War II.
