The Iwo Jima Memorial is a tribute to the U.S. Marine Corps and is set in a beautiful spot in Arlington, Virginia. The grounds surrounding the memorial are a popular gathering place during the warmer months of the year. There is a great view of Washington, DC and this is one of the best spots to view the 4th of July fireworks on the National Mall.
