Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove is a memorial to President Lyndon Johnson that is set in a grove of trees and 15 acres of gardens along the George Washington Memorial Parkway in Washington, DC. The memorial is a part of the Lady Bird Johnson Park, which honors the former first lady's role in beautifying the country's and Washington, DC's landscape. The Lyndon Baines Johnson Memorial Grove is open year round, during daylight hours. It is an ideal setting for picnics and has beautiful views of the Potomac River and the Washington, DC skyline. The Memorial has easy access to the Mount Vernon Trail and is a popular place for cyclists and runners to gather.
