"Every Four Years: Presidential Campaigns and the Press" is an exhibit at the Newseum in Washington DC that explores the history of media coverage of presidential campaigns. Running during the same time as the 2012 election, the exhibit features 120 artifacts and a variety of interactive activities. See the following photos and get a glimpse of the exhibit. "Every Four Years" will be on display through Jan. 27, 2013.

Photo: "Saturday Night Live's" satirical coverage of the 2008 presidential election was especially popular with the public. Among the artifacts in the exhibit are the suit, flag lapel pin and eyeglasses worn by Tina Fey as Sarah Palin and the blue suit with a Barack Obama pin worn by Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton. Visitors can watch video recordings of many of the "Saturday Night Live" episodes.
