Two large bronze sculpture panels by German artist Jürgen Weber stand at the entrance to the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. The sculptures are entitled "Amerika" and "War or Peace" and were created between 1966 and 1971 as a gift from Germany in memory of John F. Kennedy.
